Hiccups

This is from a teller working somewhere in Europe, her account:

I am a teller at a bank, and I have a nasty hiccup I cannot get rid of. A customer approaches me, having questions about his savings account. He also has a 50 Euro bill in his hand. I answer his questions, while trying to suppress my hiccup. When I hand him his documents he had given me before, he takes them, turns away, then turns back to me.)
 
Customer: “Where are my €50 notes?”
Me: “You did not hand it to me.”
Customer: “I did give it to you; it was in my savings book.”
(I panic, because our branch is pretty busy, and sometimes I forget things. I look around for the €50, even underneath the service station, but nothing. We argue about the money for a bit, and then he smiles.)
Customer: “Sorry, I have the money. I just needed to scare you a bit to help you get rid of that hiccup.”
(I was staring at him while he proceeded to the cashier to put the money onto his savings account. I was shocked, but he was right: my hiccups were gone!)

Heard Raffles Hotel will be changing hands soon.

I dont know what is it about that hotel it seems it does represent Spore in a certain way. With it's ornate , all-white colonial architecture, & Palm trees it's just pretty darn beautiful. Many of my birthdays were celebrated there. I'll bring all my foreign friends there for sure when they visit. Heard it's going to the French based chain AccorHotels. Hope they don't change it too much. Fingers crossed :))

Imperial Treasure's Custard Bun , to die for !

Was at the MBS area during lunch, couldn't believe the jam- It's a holiday & it's raining yet there's so many people out there! I think I'll have to avoid this place for the next few days!

Oh yes, we had lunch at Imperial Treasure & it was great! I love the custard bun.
The custard with a little salted egg yolk (i think) just flows out like liquid gold & tasted heavenly.

This is one indulgence I let my self have. My favorite dessert for now. I took 2 ...scream !!!!!

Should you avoid eating out with friends who are fat ? ..LOL...

Do you think if you have a meal with an over weight friend, you might be influence to eat more?
My colleague swear by it ! She said there's even a study to prove it! I go .....huh....?

This so call study claim that the presence of a fat person derail our intentions to eat 'healthier'. Like all studies, it's rather bias, they can't even pinpoint the reason why. But offhand I can think of some sub-conscious influences on how much people eat:

1)Maybe with company, it's more fun, we are happier, so we eat more.
2)We might encounter cues that might prime us to want to indulge. E.g smells, or what our friends are eating.
3) The food look really delicious & taste even better...lol....

I think the above 3 reasons makes more sense than just being influence by the size of the eating companion! So don't worry if you are heavy, you are not sabotaging your other friends....lol.... However it's still better if you can lose a few kg, just to look good & be healthier :))

Who's my favorite Avenger? IronMan !!!

Today my colleague sort of went crazy. It's like aliens come down & replaced her with a replica, but the replica is a poor demented version of her. She's the sweetest girl you'll ever know- that's before today! She started snapping at all of us since she came in this morning. Even scolded the cleaning aunty- & you NEVER scold the cleaning aunty, you just don't do that -that's totally being impolite.

I became so convinced of that, that I asked her who's my favorite Avenger. Because I thought, no

matter how good they made the replica, they wouldn't have gotten that right ...lol.... She got even more annoyed with me & others for asking her that. See... we all have our own favorite Avenger. Mine is naturally IronMan. She refuse to answer us.So..... she could be a replica, we all concluded ....lol..

No dinners from now onwards:)

That's: have a good breakfast,  a good lunch & no dinner. That's 2 full meals only . At night I'll eat small bits like nuts, biscuits even a piece of cake or some noodles, but not a full meal. I even have milo & holicks on stand by incase I get hungry.

I'm tired of being so full at night & go to sleep right after. Seriously if this works , you'll hear from me !

Burger King Turkey Bacon Croissan'wich, I love it !

My usual breakfast for Sundays is Burger King's breakfast. I love their Turkey Bacon Croissan'wich. Every Sunday without fail ! Just had it yesterday still thinking of it now ...lol...  No breakfast today as I was running late this morning. If only I can sink my teeth into a nice cheesy Burger King Turkey Bacon Croissan'wich NOW !
