We were going for a house warming party the other day. Me & another friend (Lin)was suppose to buy a cake. And then we saw this:
I know it's not a normal cake, but isn't it cute? The 2 of us were arguing about it, Lin said "it's not
being a practical cake!" I was like : "what??? how ??? what's a practical cake?". We started consulting the rest's opinion on this. After like 20 mins of texting & a hundred messages. We finally get the go-ahead from the group to get it, to the dismay of Lin.
And the rest, like they said is history. This green durian cake became the party's main attraction. By the end of the party, Everyone has a selfie taken with it! Even our group photos were taken with it ...lol.... And No one bears to cut & eat it ....lol....
Have you tried taking panbesy & duromine for weight Loss? Do really rich people pay tax? Is Everyone into printing money now? Spam mail anyone? And much more....find out here.... :)

Do you have trouble deciding what's for Lunch everyday?
I do.
I Have this colleague who could practically eat wanton
noodles everyday. Then there's one who will eat nothing except chicken
rice! When I ask them, what's the deal? They both said, it's just so
much easier. It takes lots of energy to think of what's for lunch
everyday, might as well save it for something bigger?
Like what?
Work? ...lol...
Anyway, it's days like today I could almost understand what they mean! Guess I'll have wanton noodles today, tomorrow I'll have chicken rice & back to wanton noodles the next ...lol...
Well at last I've 2 choices instead of one !

Owls in Japan?
When you think of Japan, you'll probably think of ramen, Mt Fuji, skiing, sushi, temples etc... So when Lizzy said she wanted to go see owls, I was kinda surprise. Owls in Japan, I've not heard of that. But she said they have trips there just for that. Really?
There are fox villages & now owl cafes in Japan? She wanted to pat an owl ! But Whatever for ?
Ok the pic looks kinda cute ....but ....??? Anyway, our group is planning for a trip to Japan this coming Oct or Nov & she's rooting for this elaborate owl expedition. This leads to someone wanting to see foxes. Boy... it's becoming like a safari trip, we might as well go Africa!

The Complainer !
Every office has a "Complainer" , someone who complains about anything & everything. My colleague ,TJ, (the girl sitting across me- but not the Complainer )told me for every person that drives you crazy, you drive someone else crazy as well. Really???
I ask her do I drive her crazy? She said " of course no! ". And what about the "Complainer?" TJ reminded me that Complainer is engaged to be married, that's proof that there's someone out there, who thinks that she's wonderful ....lol...
I was thinking TJ is very diplomatic, I should learn from her, perhaps I'm being too judgemental. So I made a note to try to be sweet to the "Complainer" the next time. And before I could even formalized my thoughts properly, the "Complainer" came from behind me, tapped me on my shoulder (which scare the shit out of me ) & ask me to look at something. I turned around & saw a male colleague talking to TJ. I don't understand the significance , what so interesting about that? The "Complainer" rolled her eyes since I apparently did not get what she's trying to tell me.
She whispered into me ears :" TJ is always seducing the guys in the office!" OMG..... should I tell TJ, she has been defending the devil ? What would you do if you were me ?

"Marriage Vows are still valid during Company Christmas parties!"
The Company should have sent out a memo before the company's Christmas party saying :
"Marriage Vows are still valid during Company Christmas parties!"
Christmas Eve was our party & I've never seen a group of happier people ...lol... Maybe because the booze is free & free flowing. OK it's not technically a company's party. It's my Boss, whose just the greatest & he invited us to his fabulous place for the celebration. The food was great, The turkey stuffing was out of the world wonderful & the wine. I think he has a friend who owns a vine yard or something so we have so much wine & everyone is just drowning themselves with it.
One thing lead to another. Well you should guess what happened next (hint hint... look at the title of this post!). People started to hook up, yup like really getting pretty close, touchy, touchy. These people are married or attached to someone else & that someone is not in the party ðŸ˜. Nobody really care a damn as most of us were pretty drunk & high by then ...lol... But a look at the pictures hours later was a different story.
It's evidence people!!!! Should I destroy them, just in case ???? Should I share them on group chat? Am I the only one who took these pictures? Frankly the guys are not into taking pictures & especially not when they are drunk. The ladies ...hmm... maybe I'm the only one, I hope so.

Surprise parties
I pride myself on being a good friend, but I really shit the bed earlier this year. I had completely forgot my buddy's birthday- to be fair, it's the day after I received the pay check and I wasn't thinking particularly clearly, but I should have left a note for myself. I apologized profusely, but Tabby kept saying, "No, it's fine! " in that high-pitched "I'm still super pissed" voice, so I know I have to make up for it somehow, and then I had an idea.
Everyone expects a surprise party on their birthday, but how many people get one on their half-birthday? Tabby turns 26 and a half last night. I sms all our friends to meet at our usual spot at Clark Quay. Everyone turned up. When Tabby finally arrived 1 hour late, she was really surprised! She thought it's just a normal gathering for drinks. And thus began apologizing profusely to each of us for being late to her own 'surprise-half-birthday'.
Weird isn't it?

How fattening is a Mooncake?
Tomorrow is the Moon Cake festive. Today my colleague Lee sent all of us this :
I've been feasting on moon cakes for the past week, as many clients & friends have been sending them to me. And I do love them. Now I feel a little guilty after seeing this chart. But after a closer look, I'm beginning to doubt it's credibility. Just look at the fourth line: how can a moon cake with only 2 egg yolks be more fattening than 2 servings of nasi lemak?
We have been debating on the chart the whole day. Most of us questioning it's authenticity & reliability. Then Lee told us not be be so guilty & defensive. Easy for him to say, he's not on a diet, he has no figure & his wife love him for being him ....lol...
